Carol is the visionary behind Nirvana Healing Arts, a sanctuary for profound transformation, energetic alignment, and conscious awakening. From a young age, she felt a deep calling to the unseen realms, sensing a reality beyond what meets the eye. Her innate sensitivity to energy, spirit, and life’s mysteries set her on a path of exploration long before she had the words to describe it. As an empath with clairvoyant abilities, she could perceive the subtle energies of others, receiving messages and visions from the universe that illuminated the hidden layers of life. 

Carol has always known in her heart that she is a teacher and guide, called to serve, awaken, and shift the energy of the world, reflecting the light and potential of others. Before answering this higher calling fully, she holds an MBA and spent many years as a successful pharmaceutical corporate leader, navigating the world of business and science, gaining structure and discipline, while her soul always knew her true work was to bridge the mystical with the practical. 

In 2019, following a deep personal trauma, Carol answered a profound calling from Pachamama and the Apus, welcoming her to the home of her soul. Through private Ayahuasca and Huachuma (San Pedro) ceremonies with highly reputable shamans in Peru, she experienced a deep sense of belonging to this sacred land, completing a cycle that led to her initiation as a medicine woman of the Andes. This journey solidified her purpose: to use her gifts to serve humanity, guiding others toward healing, awakening, and connection with Spirit. She was guided along this path by the condor, a revered Inca spiritual guide linking the earthly and celestial realms, offering perspective, clarity, and insight.

Following this awakening, she dedicated herself to learning and becoming certified in diverse healing modalities, including Reiki, yoga, meditation, sound healing, inner dance, breathwork, and past/future life regression. She journeyed to sacred lands around the world, deepening her understanding of spiritual traditions and practices. Her path culminated in initiation at Mount Ausangate into the Q’ero lineage, one of the most respected shamanic traditions, where she was honored as a Paqo (medicine woman). 

Today, as a modern medicine woman and the founder of Nirvana Healing Arts, Carol guides others on journeys of healing, awakening, and reconnection with their inner power. She creates spaces where science meets spirit, helping clients navigate the sacred duality of shamanism: the heart and mind, the conscious and unconscious, the darkness and the light. At the heart of her work is the truth that within each of us lives the Divine Masculine and Divine Feminine—clarity and action woven with intuition and creativity. Like yin and yang, Shiva and Shakti, or the Ida and Pingala, these energies are not opposing but two aspects of a single reality that are inseparable and foundational to the universe.

In the Q’ero tradition, this sacred balance is reflected in dualities such as Sun and Moon, Condor and Puma, Hanan and Urin, the physical and the spiritual worlds, and giving and receiving energies that, when harmonized, awaken the central channel of the soul and open the path to harmony, freedom, and inner wholeness. Her work supports deep integration, transformation, and lasting personal growth.
