Shamanic Healing
Shamanic rituals are sacred portals for healing, transformation, and connection to Spirit. They invite participants to step into a space beyond the ordinary, release what no longer serves them, and receive guidance, clarity, and renewal.
At Nirvana Healing Arts, our in-person ceremonies are intentionally small and intimate, allowing each participant to go deeper and feel truly held. Every ceremony is guided by Carol, a medicine woman, modern-day shaman (Paqo), energy healer, and guide, who has been initiated into the Q’ero lineage of Inca shamans at Mt. Ausangate in Peru. Each ritual is conducted with the highest respect for the spirit of the plant medicines, Pachamama (Mother Earth), and the Apus (sacred mountain spirits of Peru).
The Flower Cleansing Ceremony is a traditional shamanic healing practice rooted in the spiritual traditions of the Andes and Amazon. Flowers carry the vibration of beauty, love, and renewal, and in this sacred ritual, they are used to cleanse heavy energies from the body and restore harmony to the spirit. The ceremony is facilitated by Carol, a medicine woman trained in the Andean tradition, who guides the process with reverence and authenticity.
This ritual is traditionally performed by a natural body of water such as a river or lake, where the flowing current helps release and carry away heavy energies. Fresh blossoms, aromatic herbs, and sacred waters are gently applied to the energy field, allowing their essence to wash away negativity and infuse the soul with light.
The flower cleansing is especially powerful during times when you feel weighed down by stress, grief, or emotional heaviness; when you’re moving through a life transition; or when you need to let go of stagnant energy from past experiences. It offers a fresh start, opening space for peace, clarity, and renewal.

The Flower Cleansing Ceremony is a gentle yet powerful ritual of purification, helping you release what no longer serves you so you can step forward lighter, clearer, and more aligned with your true self.
The Hucha Rumi is an ancient shamanic cleansing practice rooted in the Andean healing traditions. The name means “heavy stone” in Quechua, and this sacred ritual uses two special river stones from sacred Inca sites in the Peruvian Andes. These stones are powerful allies, drawing out hucha—the dense, heavy energy we accumulate through stress, emotional pain, unhealthy attachments, or spiritual imbalance. By releasing what no longer serves us, we make space for sami—pure, light energy that flows from the higher realms.
This one-on-one healing technique is performed in nature, where the earth’s energy supports deep renewal and alignment. The sacred stones act as a bridge, helping to cleanse, restore harmony, and reconnect you with your natural state of balance.
As you let go of stagnant energy, you’ll open to clarity, peace, and vitality—physically, emotionally, and spiritually.

The Hucha Rumi Cleansing Ceremony offers a powerful energy reset—a chance to shed the old and receive the gift of light energy so you can step forward renewed and aligned.
The Andean Despacho Ceremony is an ancient Andean ritual of gratitude, intention, and connection with the natural and spiritual worlds. Rooted in the shamanic traditions of the Andes, this sacred practice honors Pachamama (Mother Earth) and the Apus (mountain spirits), acknowledging the web of life that sustains us.
A Despacho is a carefully arranged bundle of symbolic offerings—often including seeds, herbs, sweets, flowers, and other natural elements—woven together with prayer and intention. Each element carries meaning, representing our hopes, intentions, and gratitude. During the ceremony, the bundle is presented as an offering to Pachamama and the Apus, creating a bridge between the physical and spiritual realms.
This ceremony is especially powerful for:
At the culmination of the ceremony, the Despacho is traditionally burned or buried, releasing your intentions to the universe. This act symbolizes surrender, trust, and the transformative power of letting go while inviting positive energies to flow into your life.
Who benefits from a Despacho Ceremony?
Anyone seeking guidance, clarity, or alignment with their life path can benefit. Whether you are embarking on a new chapter, celebrating a meaningful event, or seeking harmony with yourself and the world, this ritual invites deep reflection, healing, and connection.
The Shamanic Roots
Despacho ceremonies have been practiced for centuries in Andean culture. Shamans (Paqqos) use these offerings to maintain balance, express gratitude, and strengthen bonds with the natural and spiritual worlds. Today, this tradition continues as a sacred tool for transformation, empowerment, and connection.
Cacao, the “medicine of the heart,” is a sacred plant ally used in Andean shamanism. Beyond being a rich, nourishing beverage, cacao opens pathways for emotional, physical, and spiritual transformation.
At Nirvana Healing Arts, we use only the highest-quality wild cacao paste from Peru—never cacao powder. The authenticity and purity of this cacao preserve the plant’s medicinal properties, allowing its heart-opening and healing energy to fully support participants. The cacao is brewed with intention, infused with love and respect for the medicine, and guided by the energy of the facilitator, creating a safe, sacred container for transformation.

Dosing
Rapé (pronounced ha-peh) is a sacred Amazonian snuff made from medicinal plants, tree ashes, and other botanical ingredients. Each indigenous tribe in the Amazon has its own traditional recipe, reflecting centuries of ancestral knowledge.
At Nirvana Healing Arts, we offer ceremonies with organic rapé sourced directly from Peru, shared in the traditional way as part of a sacred ritual. Every ceremony is guided by a professionally trained facilitator, ensuring a safe, respectful, and authentic experience.
Unlike other plant medicines, rapé is fully legal, not a controlled substance, and does not contain DMT. It does not create visions but instead supports profound energetic and spiritual healing through grounding, cleansing, and alignment. Each type of rapé we work with is chosen for specific purposes such as mental clarity, heart opening, spiritual awakening, or energetic renewal.
